Melanoma skin cancer is a malignant melanocyte tumor considered the most invasive and dangerous cancer, with an average five-year survival rate of less than 5% after metastasis. Thus, new strategy for preventing treating from natural product required. Medicinal plants are potential as alternative against cancer. This review article aims to determine products medicinal which have anticancer in melanoma vitro vivo. 40 been selected based on selection criteria compounds. In studies showed that plant can reduce cell viability through cycle inhibition apoptosis induction inhibit angiogenesis, invasion, metastasis human Therefore, further research required explore more plants, especially their active compounds, mechanism action be used standard herbal medicines.
